In an effort to enhance Cree culture and ethics in furbearer harvesting, the training on trapping is offered in partnership with the Cree Trappers’ Association and the tallymen.
About This Free Event
Program
The training consists in a 30-hour theoretical and practical course, spanning over 5 days, during which students will learn how to use various gears to trap different groups of species, about the biology of the species, about diseases and parasites, as well as how to handle and prepare fur.
